Danil lives in Kharkhov, Ukraine with his father Sergei. he has played hockey for Druzhba '78 for eight years. Danil has completed high school and hopes to attendprep school and college in the United States, then pursue his dream "to play hockey at the highest level possible".
Danil is a well rounded athlete. He plays soccer and basketball and swims. He enjoys playing chess with his friends. During the summer, when he is not training, Danil works as an auto mechanic with his father.
About applying to school in the United States Danil writes "it's a great opportunity that most people in my country don't have. I understand that and appreciate that it can help me be better in all ways". With his size and outstanding skating ability, Danil is an exciting D-1 College and professional prospect.
