Sergei Sorokolal is 17 years old and lives in Kharkov, Ukraine with his parents and two sisters.  He graduated from secondary school N 160 in June 2004.  Sergei has taken 10 years of English and wants to continue his education in the U.S. and to play hockey.   In addition to playing hockey, Sergei enjoys playing soccer, likes to read, listen to music and to play chess.  He especially likes to go fishing with his father.

He is a goalie and has played for Druzhba ’78 for nine years.  Sergei is very proud of his heritage and is especially grateful for the many wonderful experiences he has had playing hockey in the United States, Canada, Russia, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Latviga, Czech Republic, and Germany, attending a number of tournaments, including USA International Cup 1999, 2000 (Minnesota), Quebec Pee 2000, World Championship Division II Group A U-18 2004, and New York International Ice Hockey Cup 2004, EEHL.
