Aleksei Koval  is 19 years old and lives in Kiev, Ukraine with his parents and his sister.   Aleksei has had 8 years of English while attending school in Kiev.  He wants to continue his education in the U.S. and to play professional hockey.  In addition to playing hockey, Aleksei plays soccer and enjoys reading, his favorite writer is Paolo Coelo.

He has played forward for Druzhba ’78 for 4 years and for Sokal in Kiev for 6 years.  He has played in the NYIHC World Cup (Div. I, Pool A) 2000 - 2004  as well as EEHL tournaments.

Of this tour in the U.S., Akeksei says:  "This experience has been positive, it's been good to see these team's different styles and to play such good players and teams".
