Igor Egorychev lives in Kharkov, Ukraine with his mother, Olga, and his father, Alex. He will celebrate his 16th birthday on February 26th and is 5’ 11” and weighs 163 lbs. On weekends Igor, his mother and father and grandmother and grandfather take walks together. He states he has “a very good family and loves them very much.” He attended Primary School N 74 from 1998 to 1999 and is currently in the 10th grade in secondary school N 160. Igor also plays soccer and played in the USA Cup in 1999 and 2000. In his spare time he likes to work on computers. Igor wants to “get education, to be smart” and would very much like to go the United States to attend high school and college and to play hockey. He would love to play pro hockey.
Igor is a forward who shoots left and has played for Druzhba ’78 for seven years. He enjoys meeting people from other countries and especially enjoys playing against the best teams in good competitions. His experiences have been very positive and he particularly enjoys seeing and playing against the different styles of hockey. Igor has played in the USA International Cup 1999, Quebec Pee Wee, EEHL, New York International Ice Hockey Cup 2004 and 2005, and the Ukrainian Championship.
