Viktoria Mikolenko is one of two girls playing hockey for Druzhba ’78 and is also one of the youngest players on the team at 15 years old.   She lives in Kharkov, Ukraine with her parents and her brother (one of her teammates!).  She is extremely proud of her country.  She attended Primary School N88 from 1996 to 1998 and is currently in grade 10 at Secondary School N160.  Viktoria has taken 5 years of English.  She wants to finish her school and then would like to go to high school and college in America.  In addition to hockey, she enjoys playing soccer, chess, reading, and working on the computer.  Viktoria would very much love to play on a women’s hockey team.

Viktoria has played for Ivan Pravilov on the Druzhba ’78 hockey team since she was 10 years old and thinks it is the most unique and best hockey program in the world!  She plays forward and shoots left.   Viktoria has said that her traveling abroad playing hockey gives her experiences that she would never have had and that she enjoys very much seeing lots of interesting things and places.  She had attended the following tournaments:  EEHL, New York International Ice Hockey Cup and the Ukrainian Championship.
