Maksim Podkosov is 17 years old and lives in Kharkov, Ukraine with his family. Maksim has had several years of English while attending school in Kharkov. He wants to continue his education in the U.S. and to "play hockey for the rest of his life". Maksim also likes to read and listen to music.
He has played forward for Druzhba ’78 for 9 years. He has played in the N.Y. International Cup 2004, 2004 World Championship Div II U-18, Quebec Pee-Wee Championship 2000 and in the U.S.A. International Cup 1999 and 2000 (Minnesota).
Of his hockey tours, Maksim says: "I am grateful to have had so such good opportunities to visit many countries (U.S., Canada, Hungary, Russia, Mexico, Latvia and Cheh Rep) and play hockey with so many high level teams"
