Artem Gumenyuk is 17 years old. He lives in Kharkov, Ukraine with his parents, one brother and one sister. Artem has had 6 years of english while attending school in Kharkov. He would like to attend high school and college in the U.S and then go on to play professional hockey. When not playing hockey, Artem plays soccer, pool and ping pong.

Artem has played defense and forward with Druzhba 78 for 10 years. He has attended several tournaments including the Quebec Pee-Wee Tournament 2000 and the New York Internation Hockey Cup 2004, and numerous other tournaments in Europe and U.S.A.

Artem feels he has gained alot of experience playing the american teams during the U.S. tour.
